Irving Rameses "Ving" Rhames is an American actor and voice actor, known for his distinctive deep voice. He is best known for his supporting role as Luther Stickell in the Mission: Impossible film series. He also portrayed Sergeant Kenneth Hall in the 2004 horror film Dawn of the Dead, as well as voiced Thaddeus in the 2017 Sony Pictures animated biblical comedy film The Star and Buffalo Belzer in the 2022 Netflix adult stop-motion horror film Wendell & Wild. Additionally, he voiced Otto in the 2024 computer-animated film The Garfield Movie and Thunderbolt in the DreamWorks Animation film The Wild Robot.
