Reggie is the main protagonist of the 2023 adult live-action movie Strays.
Personality
Reggie is a gullible and idiotic-yet good-hearted Border Terrier living with his selfish owner, Doug. Even though Doug only keeps him to spite an ex-girlfriend, Reggie is under the impression that Doug loves him and does everything he can to make him happy, much to Doug's chagrin.
Heroic Acts
- Perhaps when Reggie learned Doug doesn't love him. He says he's going back to Doug's and at first the Strays group was shocked, but Reggie had a plan to bite his genitals off and the three agree to help Reggie. While in the middle of the journey he stopped having a plan to bite the penis off. Bug got really mad and made Reggie leave. Bug found courage when he helped find Riley (The Lost Girl Scout) and he decided to help Reggie. When Doug pulls out a bat and menacingly wanted to hit Reggie, Hunter knocked the door down and the three show up and proceeds to help Reggie bite off Doug's D*ck and Hunter Sh**ted in Doug's face and left. (Revenge towards his abusive owner)
Trivia
- Reggie was the only dog of the group who chose to have no owner (staying a stray) unlike Bug, Maggie and Hunter.
- Josh Greenbaum (director of the movie) adopted a young puppy (Reggie in the opening flashback scene), and his kids wanted to name the puppy Reggie after the movie (and the fact the puppy version of Reggie played Young Reggie).
