Bumpy is the main dinosaur protagonist in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and an overarching protagonist Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.
She is an unwanted "failure" of Jurassic World who was left to die on Isla Nublar, but was fortunately raised by a caring Ankylosaurus and a cowardly but, kind-hearted human, which allowed to Bumpy to thrive as both and animal and hero. Bumpy acted as a pet and as Ben's motivation, which would influence his heroic personality. By the end of JWCC, Bumpy would stay with Mae Turner on Mantah Corp before being transferred to Sammy's ranch in the 5 year time-span before the events of Chaos Theory. While she was there, Bumpy would also get a mate who would impregnate her with an egg. The egg would be produced in the DPW storage unit, and Bumpy would be left in the care of Mateo. Bumpy would be moved into a veterinary clinic in Biosyn Valley so her Mantah Corp chip could be updated. However, Brookylnn and Sammy were able to free her, and allow Bumpy to meet her child. Later on, Bumpy would see her mate, and the family would be left alone. Smoothie would be raised by Bumpy and her mate, who were his real parents. This was a privilege Bumpy was never able to have, but would be happy with changing that for the new generation.
Appearance
Bumpy, like a typical Ankylosaurus is a quadrupedal dinosaur with a spiky exterior and clubbed tail. Her colors consist of a teal blue for the overlayer, cream for the underlayer and yellow for the eyes. Due to being born prematurely, she has one horn larger than the other as a birth defect.
As a hatchling, Bumpy would be extremely tiny and light enough to fit in Ben's two hands. Her colors were extremely faded, and she would have many bumps on her back where spikes and horns would be when she grew older.
In Bumpy's juvenile stage she would become very large, being described to be an iron meatball. Her colors would be more vibrant, and she would grow more bumps around her body.
When she grew into an adolescent, Bumpy would drastically change in appearance. She would grow larger, have spikes instead of bumps, and get a beak-like mouth. She would also be large enough to carry multiple people on her back.
As an adult, Bumpy would grow stronger legs, have a more curved back and receive more spikes on her body.
Personality
Since birth, Bumpy was shown to be very affectionate to her companions. She would accept any form of affection to her, and reciprocate it back though her own heartwarming way.
Bumpy was also shown to be an emotional support animal to Ben during their time away from the other campers. She would allow herself to be used as a pillow so Ben could feel comfortable, even if everything at Nublar was terrifying.
Bumpy is also always the first to learn of an incoming threat, so she would commonly squeal to alert her team, to somehow intimidate the dinosaur, or just out of plain fear. To not cause any issues, Bumpy would currently use other ways to alarm her group of any danger.
When Bumpy was young, she was quite ignorant of the Indominus attacking Nublar, sleeping on the run, and randomly not leaving when The Indominus Rex came close. However, once her companions were in serious, immediate danger she would protect them. Like when Ben and herself would be surrounded by Compies. This would happen again in "Safe Harbour", in where Bumpy would ignore Sammy and go to Yasmina for cuddling, but Bumpy would save her from dinosaurs.
Although Bumpy was mostly raised by humans, she was sociable with other Ankylosaurus, and was immediately accepted into a local herd. During the events of season four, it would be expected that Bumpy bonded with the Ankylosaurus on Nublar before she was transferred to Mantah Corporation. She was also able to get a mate before the events of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.
In "Casa de Kenji", Bumpy was shown to have the knowledge of sign language so she could let Ben know of a threat or that she's constipated.
Like a dog, Bumpy likes treats, and would be almost undyingly affectionate to those who provide her with those. In "Safe Harbour", Bumpy liked eating Yasmina's gummies, and would completely ignore Sammy to have some. Bumpy also loves to sleep, she used to always sleep in her young stages, but as she matured Bumpy only slept when her group or herself would not be under any threat.
Bumpy is a fighter, though and through, and is always determined to be victorious in her battle if it ensures the safety of her friends.
In "Eye of the Storm", Bumpy would plead with Ben and Darius to stop fighting as she was determined to maintain their relationship, Ben would stop after realizing how Bumpy felt. This shows that Bumpy was also a bond protector, and would show that she could be emotionally hurt if the balance of her team is breaking.
Throughout her appearances as a matured Ankylosaurus, Bumpy would be undyingly loyal to her teammates, especially Ben, as they are best friends.
Proven in "Welcome to Jurassic World", Bumpy hates going into water, and gets easily seasick.
Proven in "Misguided", Bumpy doesn't like killing or attacking for no reason, which is a part of her personality that she maintains throughout the franchise. She'd just rather eat or sleep instead.
When Bumpy met with Smoothie for the first time, she was very gentle and kind with him, recognizing him as her child. This shows that Bumpy is capable to be motherly.
While Bumpy is normally docile, if someone hurts her to the point when she is aggressive, Bumpy is capable of injuring them on purpose.
Powers and Skills
Ankylosaurus Physiology:
Bumpy is an Ankylosaurus, which is a dinosaur that specializes in defense with its bony and spiky overlayer, tough enough to completely counter all of the physical attacks of a Scorpius Rex. In the offensive department , Bumpy has a club-like tail to fight back against predators, enemies and whatever else can come her way. Due to its shape and texture, the blow can knock down big dinosaurs for protection.
Intelligence:
Bumpy was shown to be more intelligent than other Dinosaurs in the series, she's able to understand human commands, show sign language with her tail and understand what her human partners are feeling and shows emotional support when they're negative. This behavior is similar to an emotional support dog.
Mind Control Resistance:
Similar to Toothless in How to Train Your Dragon 2, Bumpy was able to resist villainous mind control that completely affected other members of her society. When she saw Ben crying in Season 5, she was able to partially block the commands and freeze in a specific position. She can at least do it for a few minutes, which gave Kenji an opening to destroy the controller.
Agility:
As an Adult, Bumpy has a moderately fast speed, considering how big and heavy she is. She can catch up to vehicles, run away from dinosaurs and escape explosions. This was originally her hindering factor as a juvenile.
High Endurance
In Chaos Theory, Bumpy was shown to withstand multiple layers of pain during Season one. An example would be withstanding multiple tasers while pregnant.
Weaknesses
Mobility Issues(When Young):
During her earlier stages in life, Bumpy was a hindrance to the group due to how slow she was. This caused her to be carried by her caretakers commonly, however, due to her weight, Bumpy slowed the group down. Causing her to be in dangerous situations many times.
Stress:
When Bumpy's stressed, she may be a hindrance to herself or others. As a Juvenile, she squealed when she was under stress, which revealed the Nublar Six's hiding spot to dangerous dinosaurs. In her mature stages, Bumpy would unintentionally hit her friends with her tail, like when she sensed the Scorpius Rex heading to the Campsite. Also fighting large packs of individuals is a problem when she's in that state, like during her first confrontation with the DPW, she was immediately captured due to "Pregnancy Stress".
Huge Size:
Bumpy is an Ankylosaurus, a dinosaur that was huge in the series, and because of that she couldn't fit into small spaces. This wasn't an issue for most of the series, until "Casa de Kenji" when dinosaurs were invading the penthouse. Due to how big she was, she couldn't fit through the door and had to alert the Campers with her tail. Bumpy could've easily beaten them if she had the chance.

Trivia
- Based on Bumpy's growth rate, in Jurassic World, Ankylosauruses grow into their mature stages within a few weeks to a month.
- Currently, Bumpy and her son, Smoothie are the only Ankylosauruses within their herd with their respective coloring.
- As of Chaos Theory Season 3, Bumpy is about 6 years old.
- Bumpy is the second dinosaur in Jurassic World that has asymmetry. (The first being Blue with her blue stripes.)
- Some fans view Bumpy as the unofficial "seventh" member of the Nublar Six.
- In Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, some of Bumpy’s roars and bellows are reused from Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon.
- Bumpy went through multiple iterations, most of which being of multiple different other species of dinosaur (including Carnotaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Maiasaura, Parasaurolophus, Styracosaurus, Protoceratops, Ceratosaurus, Yutyrannus, Cryolophosaurus, and Allosaurus), before the decision to make her an Ankylosaur was reached.
- Bumpy's adult appearance resembles the Ankylosaurus Gen 2 from Jurassic World: Alive.
- Based on Bumpy's scenes and personality, she is probably the most intelligent and kind-hearted dinosaur in the Jurassic Park Franchise(At least to her human and Dinosaur companions). She almost never falls to her natural instincts like other dinosaur heroes in the Franchise(Blue, for example). This could possibly mean that Dr. Wu could've implemented a DNA sample of a domesticated animal(eg. Dogs) that could've rewired her brain to make her more intelligent, allowing Bumpy to understand morals and use it in her daily life. Although, it could be based on Ankylosaur physiology(In the Jurassic Park Franchise at least), because in the franchise, Bumpy's species never acted aggressive unless if was for the survival of themselves or their group. Nevertheless, Bumpy still had no acts of evil thus far, earning the title of the kindest and most intelligent dinosaur in her franchise.
